Francesca was born in Viareggio, Italy. Neighboring the bucolic region of Tuscany, where in Florence, the famed Count Emilio Pucci and Guccio Gucci were born.

When Francesca recollects her youth in Tuscany, her prevailing memory is that of her grandmother’s enchanting armoire filled with evening gowns, buttons and costume jewelry. These, all from a significant and colorful period in the history of Fashion itself. It was in this treasure trove where she spent hours mixing and matching look after look, forming the foundation of unpretentious taste and effortless chic that pervade her designs today.

While pursuing a degree in classical studies and sociology at the University “Cesare Alfieri” of Florence, Francesca found further confirmation that her passion was indeed for Fashion. As she grew into a woman and traveled the world, she continued to find joy in transforming a simple piece - like a white t-shirt - into something unique by adding a scarf, a pin or a necklace.  When she could not find it, she started making it for herself.
With Francesca’s innate style and eclectic personal touches, these pieces induce sensations of intimacy with art, culture and nature.

Francesca’s collections are inspired by the colors, textures and aromas reminiscence of her Mediterranean summer holidays: stone, sand, grass and shell, lapis, sage, ivory and garnet, salt, earth, wine and lavender.
